Professional Collaboration

Professional Performances

Starting in 1990, dozens of New Bedford's younger ballet students have had the opportunity to dance with professional companies in performances of the Nutcracker at the Zeiterion Theater. In recent years the New Bedford Youth Ballet has performed excerpts from the Nutcracker with the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.

Guest Artists

Our students have had the opportunity to work with guest artists from such companies as Boston Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet, Festival Ballet, and the Houston Ballet.

Professional Training Scholarships

We have given scholarships to local students for summer programs such as:
