New Bedford Ballet has a respected reputation for high level dance training. We offer a complete and structured classical ballet program for students age 3 through professional, and adult classes. New Bedford Ballet provides a high level of technical training and performance opportunities, and develops students' artistic and technical abilities to their fullest potential. Through its carefully developed curriculum and established policies, the students are guaranteed a positive and professional atmosphere.

New Bedford Ballet is proud to present a new season of live dance performances!
Join us for A New England Nutcracker, a regional twist on a holiday classic, at our own Community Theater at New Bedford Ballet in December 2022.
The New Bedford Youth Ballet will tour local elementary schools to perform a short program in March 2023.
At the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in June 2023, New Bedford Ballet will present its annual tour de force, a full-length, family-oriented classical ballet featuring students from the school and guest artists from nationally acclaimed, professional dance companies.
A short program featuring our summer ballet students will be performed in August 2023 at New Bedford Ballet’s Community Theater.

New Bedford Youth Ballet
The New Bedford Youth Ballet is a company of intermediate and advanced dancers, ages 11 to 18 years, who are interested in developing their performance skills by participating in extracurricular dance programs. Open auditions for the Youth Ballet are held at New Bedford Ballet every September. The New Bedford Youth Ballet performs at a myriad of venues throughout the South Coast, bringing the art of ballet to the community.
