Classes at New Bedford Ballet

Each year, New Bedford Ballet enrolls new students of all ages and abilities in the study of classical ballet. One year of study builds onto the next with extensive focus on proper form, prevention of injury, and presentation. Each dancer endures rigorous training in stretching, muscle education, balance, focus, endurance, and artistry.

Students from New Bedford Ballet have gone on to prestigious schools such as Hartford Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Lake Erie Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and the Joffrey School of Chicago to name a few.  The ballet school continues to be proud of the high level of ballet training and education it provides which has earned it a respected reputation.

Student enrollment in Discovery, Pre-Ballet and Foundation classes is determined by age.

Students looking to enroll in Adaptive Ballet should please contact New Bedford Ballet to determine eligibility.

Ballet Levels A through E are enrolled by placement. All new students ages 8 through 18 are required to attend a placement class so Artistic Staff may determine their appropriate level of study.

All adults are welcome to join Adult Ballet classes.

I am grateful to New Bedford Ballet for…

“Finding confidence in myself and the friends and memories I have made that will never be forgotten.”

— Eva, Ballet E Student
